With legacy systems, the amount of data is enormous and it is a cumbersome task especially when the data resides across multiple databases. Transforming these large chunks of data to useful ones would imply processing such as sorting, merging, filtering, and enrichment. Further, the consequential data has to be stored in some reliable scalable storage facility.

We designed and developed Xylem; a cloud-based tool that makes data warehousing operations on legacy systems hassle-free like never before.

• Data will be extracted from legacy systems and then Xylem transforms the data into Oracle Cloud native files which will be used to load the data onto the Oracle SaaS cloud.

• Xylem has built-in queries to extract the data as required for the cloud business objects from one or more JDE / PeopleSoft sub-modules.

• Working with JDE: We have profound expertise in the unique data model of JDE tables identified by Letters and Numbers and we are well versed with Business view constructs to identify the mapping with Oracle Cloud.

• Working with PeopleSoft: We have a vast experience with the PeopleSoft HCM application and its corresponding tables to extract data in the required format.

• Three-step Approach: Conversion of data from legacy JDE/PeopleSoft systems is achieved in 3 steps namely – Data Extraction, Transformation and Load to Cloud.
